This building is the Gustavianum, built in the 1620's, with the cathedral in the background. The onion-shaped dome on top of the building is an amphitheater where human dissections used to take place. The windows around the periphery are somehow arranged to focus light onto the stretcher in the center of the amphitheater... The building now contains a museum with for example Celsius' first thermometer.
