Dawn My parents's house in Timrå is at more than 62 degrees latitude, so in midwinter the Sun barely manages to pull itself above the horizon. This also means that dawn and dusk are very drawn out events, going on for hours. To capture this I hooked up the camera to my laptop and set it to take a picture every 10 minutes. This slideshow is the result. I think it's pretty cool. In case you wonder, the large industry emitting steam in the center of the picture is the Östrand pulp manufacturing plant, a central Timrå icon. Pretty much everyone who has driven up or down E4 remembers it (it smells bad)... |
