Around my birthday in July, after talking about it for years, I finally managed to get Rick, Eliza, Stu & Brenda to go camping. Brenda and Eliza had never camped before. We went to the Crystal Springs campground in Sequoia National Park and had a pretty chill 3 days. I tried to hiked up Alta Peak, but was defeated by thunderstorms. It was also in the middle of the big fire season in California, so it was very hazy. The view from Morro Rock was like looking out into pea soup. We had a good time, and Brenda liked it so much she went backpacking a couple weeks later!
