This is how I used to get around Santa Cruz, on 2-wheelers. For about 10 years I had a pair of Ninja 250's. They were pretty old but quite reliable, used little gas, gets through traffic and is comparatively cheap to park on the UCSC campus! When we left Santa Cruz in 2009 I sold the bike, so sadly I'm now bikeless.

My nonmotorized bike is a Lightning Thunderbolt recumbent from Lightning Cycle Dynamics. I used to have a shitty mountain bike, but riding it hurt my wrists so I decided to get a recumbent, and I'm very happy with it. (I can hardly go anywhere with it without people stopping to ask questions! :-)
